To help raise money for the Foundation, each year we hold a golf outing. Since the inaugural outing in 2004, the Foundation has raised over $115,000. There are no administration or overhead fees, therefore, one hundred percent of all proceeds are donated to charities.

Despite periods of rain, 33 teams of four made their way to Highland Golf Club in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 4, 2008, to participate in the 5th annual IMG Foundation Golf Outing. Each team was playing for a great cause and vying for a spot on the Fred Snively Memorial Trophy. Several gifts and prizes were distributed. Among them was a LA Cycles Custom Chopper (motorcycle). For the first time in the outing’s history, this prize was won when one of the contestants sunk a hole in one on the course’s hole number four. Additional awards were presented to teams finishing in first, second, and third place. Some of the hole contests included prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Following the tournament, the Foundation's Chairman, Joe Brougher, shared with the teams stories of how much the Foundation has truly helped those in need and its importance. We look forward to continuing the quest of helping these organizations and people for years to come.
